Renault Laguna, still struggling to compete |
The diverse market of the mid sized family hatchbacks and saloon models in the UK is becoming a very competitive field with more and more new car makers wanting a piece of the cake now.
The Laguna has always suffered in the handling area and unfortunately the latest Laguna, although having improved on interior design and having tried to make it as luxurious as possible, still suffers in the handling, steering response fields which remains a concern and fails to impress.
A 3 year, 100k mile warranty along with rear split, folding seats giving massive load space, well laid out cabin, economical diesel engines and the luxurious feel of the interior may just help the Laguna to fight for a decent rank in the field but in the long term Renault really need to work on the handling and driving responses of their models to really be taken seriously in this day and age.
