The car insurance comparison site is here to stay

The car insurance market has recently been saturated with sites and companies offering car insurance comparisons between numerous companies and offering their visitors the best possible deal depending on the different features that may be required. This new phenomenon has revolutionized the car insurance market and has caused quite a few big companies to feel very insecure. Direct Line for example, recently made a TV ad where customers complain about how the other insurance companies don’t offer what they need and one such complaint was “when the insurance comparison site doesn’t offer me what I need!” . A ridiculous statement indeed as the comparison site is the best way forward and here to stay.

Anyone with a little common sense realizes that the more vigorous the competition, the better the deal for the consumer. With more and more car insurance comparison sites emerging in the market, the final results for the buyers especially the UK are looking more and more impressive. Most comparison sites offer a number of different options for example, one can select to increase their voluntary excess amount to bring the premium levels down. You can also choose not to take out audio, windscreen cover etc to bring the final amounts payable down. Another recent introduction from major insurance companies tends to work as perfect bait for customers where they offer the buyer a 10 month cover but give a full years no claims discount if no claim is registered in that period. In short, car insurance comparison sites are here to stay and will keep offering many new mouth watering propositions to keep their position in the market.
