Car Accident Solicitor

There are more car accident solicitors than you may be aware of. These solicitors are found mostly in the United Kingdom. Their laws regarding car accidents are much different then they are in the United States. When you get into a car accident, you hire a solicitor and they will help you file your case. In the United Kingdom you have up to 3 years in order to make a claim for a car accident. If you were involved in an accident at 13 you have until the age of 21 to make a claim. If you are 18 and over then you get the 3 years to make the claim.
A solicitor cannot guarantee what kind of compensation you will receive. The compensation will also include the mental effects the accident may have had on you. If you wait three years or file right away, one of the first things you need to do is to see a doctor and get a report. Then the solicitors will then take care of the fees and the bills for you. If you are in need of a specialist then the solicitors will set you up with one.
There are some companies that you have to pay a fee to but there are others that will only get a fee if they win and even then won’t take a dime from you. As far as the benefit of waiting a while to file a claim, you should know that the compensation is better the shorter you wait, it may decrease over time, so to get the maximum benefits you want to file as soon as possible.
The solicitors will handle passengers in the car whether they were riding in the car at fault or not because the passengers are considered to be innocent victims and not in control of the car at the time of the accident. As we mentioned there are some solicitors who will not collect anything either win or lose and there are others who will only get a fee if they win. These solicitors can take up to 25 percent.
Some of these claims can include Whiplash, Hit and Run, Cycle Accident, Pedestrian Accidents, Uninsured Drivers and Bus or Coach Accidents. Some solicitors apply a no win, no fee policy. It is still cheaper for you, if they take a piece of the settlement then to hire an attorney and spend money on them. To have a solicitor work on your claim is a blessing in disguise. You have no money to lay out and with some you win you pay and others you win and you still don’t pay.
There should be solicitors in other countries for the people who do not have a lot of money to hire a lawyer. They are a great help to people who really need it in time of need. You can find a solicitor in many parts of the United Kingdom, check online or your local phone directory.

Nowadays, you have solicitors hiring people to make random phone calls to potential customers asking if anyone in the family has had an accident in the last few years etc. I once had someone call me asking the same thing to which I replied ” NO “. To my astonishment, the caller then said ” can something be arranged? ” I couldn’t believe it. Just goes to show that these people know there’s money to be made in this accident injury claim business whether the claim is legitimate or not.

I have an interesting story about how my neighbour claimed compensation and won.
A taxi driver came into our street and as he was driving past my neighbours empty parked car, he scraped it. The taxi driver got out of his car, checked his own and my neigbours car and after convincing himself that there was no damage done, he drove off.
A few weeks later, the taxi driver got a letter advising him of an injury claim filed by my neighbour. The taxi driver was shocked as he knew that the car was empty when he scraped it but the letter explained that the owner of the car was watching everythng from his window and as he rushed out, the tripped and injured his ankle.
To my disbelief, my neighbour actually won the injury compensation claim.
